Destinations: Pakse – Tad Lo – 4000 Islands

Day 1: Arrival at Pakse – Boloven (G)
Upon arrival at Pakse Airport, you’ll be met and taken by road west into the Bolaven Plateau. The Bolaven Plateau is known for its cooler temperature, being located high above the Mekong Valley. The area is famous for its many waterfalls, and you’ll visit the most beautiful of these, Tad Fan. Tad Fan waterfall is spectacular, with twin waterfalls plummeting into a deep gorge surrounded by flourishing vegetation. A trip to the plateau provides a refreshing break from the heat and allows you to observe the cultivation of rich coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas, and other crops en route. You’ll arrive at Tad Lo, home to another scenic waterfall and numerous ethnic minority groups. You’ll visit the villages of Alak, Nge, and Katu before overnighting in Sabaidee Valley in Boloven.
Day 2: Pakse – Wat Phou – Khong Island (B, G)
After an early breakfast, you’ll head out towards Khong Island. On the way, you’ll visit the fascinating pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phu, one of Southeast Asia’s most dramatically situated temples. After your own lunch, you’ll continue your journey by car to Khong Island. Overnight on Khong Island.
Day 3: Khong Island – 4000 Islands and Surrounding (B, G)
Following breakfast, you’ll enjoy a visit to the surrounding countryside and embark on a long-tail boat tour of the Don Khone area. This tour will take you to see the remains of the French period and the Liphi Waterfall, also known as “the Corridor of the Devil.” You’ll return to the mainland at the fishing village of Ban Nakasang and drive further south to visit Khone Phapheng. Khone Phapheng is considered the largest waterfall by volume in Southeast Asia, set in an area teeming with wildlife, making it one of the most breathtaking destinations in Laos. Afterward, you’ll drive back by car to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse.
Day 4: Pakse departure (B, DP)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departing flight. End of services.
