Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cable cab to Fanxipan Mountain – Thac Bac Waterfall (L, G)
After an early breakfast at hotel, at 07:00, you’ll be picked up by Limousine bus to Sapa.
Arriving around 12:30, you’ll enjoy lunch and check in to your hotel. Afterwards, you’ll be picked up and taken to the cable car station to experience a ride that offers indescribable sensations. From the cable car, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Fansipan, hidden under clouds and surrounded by the lush forests of the romantic town of Sapa, with its charming ancient villas and Western-style architecture.
Later, you’ll visit Thac Bac Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam. Its cascading waters, shimmering like silver, have earned it the romantic name “Silver Waterfall.” Afterward, you’ll return to Sapa for your overnight accommodation.
Day 2: Sapa – Cat Cat Village – Ta Van Village (L, D, G)
You’ll be picked up at 09:00 from Sapa and we walk in the direction of Cat Cat village (home to Black Hmong people). You’ll not go into the village, but go around and walk towards the edge of the national park. On the way you’ll follow the trails that go along the beautiful side of the Hoang Liên national park. You’ll walk to Muong Hoa village, home to the Black Hmong hill tribe. On the way, you’ll stop at a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you’ll continue our way towards Ta Van village. In Ta Van village you can walk around the village, drink coffee at a local coffee place and do a batik workshop in my mothers shop (optional activity, 15 USD PP). Overnight, you’ll stay with a local Hmong family in Ta Van village. In the night, you’ll have dinner together with the family and you can help them cooking if you like.

Day 3: Ta Van Village – Giang Ta Chai Village – Su Pan Village (B, L, D, G)
In the morning, after your breakfast, you’ll walk from Ta Van village to the bamboo forest. Then you’ll continue to Giang Ta Chai village, home to Black Hmong en Red Dao people. After the village, you’ll stop shortly at a waterfall. After visiting the waterfall, you’ll stop at a local restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll come down to Su Pan village of Black Hmong and Red Dzao. This is also where Sapa Farmstay is located. There you’ll stay in your own private bungalow with mountain view.
Day 4: Tiger Mountain – Sapa (B, L, G)
In the morning after a good breakfast, you’ll start your trek again and walk around 3 hours more. You’ll start by climbing the Tiger Mountain. There, you’ll walk in a beautiful forest, and pass some villages of Black Hmong people. You’ll continue into the valley towards Thanh Kim village, home to the Red Dao people. There you can see one of most beautiful scenery with rice paddies and a small river along the way. We prepare picnic lunch for you to have lunch in the mountains. You’ll finish our tour in Ban Den village. From there we will arrange transport to go back to Sapa.
Your time will be your own until you’re picked up by car to return to to Sapa then to Lao Cai for the 21:30. overnight sleeper train back to Hanoi.
