Destinations: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong (L, D, G)

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Mai Chau, passing through mountainous landscape. Upon arrival in PoomCoom village, you’ll take a short walk to visit the ethnic Thai people then lunch are served.

After lunch, you’ll take a short car ride in about 1 hour before we set off for our hiking through the beauty of Pu Luong nature reserve, the trek is intermediate level and requires some walking up hills but it’s worth your hike as we will see many spectacular views of villages and terraces.

The trek is of intermediate level and involves some uphill walking, but it’s worth the effort as we will see many spectacular views of villages and terraces. You’ll stay in your own private bungalow with mountain view.

Day 2: Hidden trails of Pu Luong (B, L, D, G)

You’ll wake up early to witness more local activities in the morning. After having breakfast, you’ll say good-bye to our host for your good hike ahead. You’ll start your hiking through hidden gems of Pu Luong including beautiful view of valleys, nice terraces and peaceful villages.

Lunch will be prepared by a local family then you’ll continue your trek through more villages to reach to Hieu village in the afternoon to check in your lodge. You’ll take rest as you wish or stroll around the village to interact with the locals and visit the beautiful waterfall nearby. You’ll stay in your own private bungalow with mountain view.

Day 3: Hieu village – Pho Doan – Hanoi (B, L, G)

It’s your last day here at this beautiful nature reserve and with the friendly villagers. You’ll take the chance to explore on your own or with our guide around the village. You’ll will then take an easy walk in about 1,5 hours to the town-let of this nature reserve where you van is waiting for us.

You’ll have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Afterwards, you’ll return to Hanoi arriving in the late afternoon.
