Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Nam Cat Tien National Park (L, D, G)

Today, your guide and driver will take you to Nam Cat Tien National Park. Part of the journey takes you through attractive scenery and large plantations.

The national park is home to diverse flora and fauna, including elephants, gaurs, gibbons, lizards… rare reptiles, birds and freshwater crocodiles, located isolated under the forests ancient trees, a place that promises thrilling discovery opportunities. Upon arrival, begin your afternoon trekking trip. This is the perfect time to explore the semi-wild animals living in the animal rescue center. You’ll spend the night at Cat Tien National Park guest house.

+ (Optional tour): Nightlife Safari tour in the National Park are organized by rangers and forester.
In the evening (between 18:00 – 19:30), you’ll enjoy a night safari (night wildlife viewing) experience. You’ll have the chance to spot various nocturnal animals in their natural habitat.

Day 2: Nam Cat Tien National Park Wild Jungle Trekking (B, L, D, G)

+ (Optional tour): Morning gibbon watching in the national park is organized by rangers and foresters. Early in the morning (05:00 – 07:00), under the guidance of a professional woodsman, you can observe gibbons in their natural habitat. Gibbons naturally live in families and territories, and morning is when they chatter and enjoy the dawn.

You’ll have breakfast at the restaurant and prepare for the 11-12 km hike into the tropical forest. You’ll travel about 10 km by a specialized vehicle to the starting point.

This trail is used for animal observation patrols and forest protection. You will not encounter anyone but wild animals and lots of old trees if you are lucky. After about a 10 km trek through the southern tropical forest system, you will arrive at Bau Sau, Vietnam’s second Ramsar site, which is an important global ecosystem with flooded terrain and wetlands essential for conservation.

Day 3: Nam Cat Tien – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, G)

You’ll wake up at 05:00 to move out of the forest and cross the howling gibbon site, walking about 5 km on an easy trail. A specialized vehicle will be waiting to pick us up and return to the guesthouse. Take some time to pack up and prepare before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
